Find that violin in the attic you played in high school! Dust off the bass! The Terrible Orchestra is group of adults that just want to have fun making music and learning again. 2+ years of playing experience is recommended. Music will be provided, not very difficult, to get the musical muscles going. Those in the class bring their own instruments and a music stand. This is modeled after The Really Terrible Orchestra of Scotland, a group of friends who just wanted to get together and play. There will a time of some instruction and “rehearsal” and reading together. Our process is 10 weeks of rehearsal fun, followed by a concert for families and friends!
See our calendar: OUR SPRING SESSION begins March 9 and ends with our concert on May 4th! Watch our Facebook page or this site when the signup sheet will be available.
We are on the news!!!! Check out this from Wane TV, channel 15!

Bring your own stand.
Music will be provided, and often I will send pdfs ahead of time.
Seating: Conductor has the right to seat in order of experience and need for balance. Requests are always considered. You will see seating nearer the first rehearsal. It is always flexible.
Repertoire is about a high school or below level. We will have some warmup pieces, scales and sight-reading.

Currently, we are taking ALL orchestral instruments. Instruments such as banjo are not usually in an orchestra so we may not have availability. Bring your own stand and have fun!
